Dennyse Sewell, Executive Director of the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, ends her term on the TMT Board of Directors.
Truckee Meadows Tomorrow thanks Dennyse Sewell, executive director of the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, for her years of service as a member of the Board of Directors.
Board service is one of the toughest volunteer roles of all, and Dennyse performed her duty with dedication and tenacity. She distinguished herself as a judicious steward of Truckee Meadows Tomorrow and never flinched in the face of difficult decisions.
A famous activist once said, “Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it.' Dennyse proved to be both wise and virtuous. During Dennyse's time with TMT she served as Vice President of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Nominating Committee, and in various other capacities. Dennyse brought a keen sense of humanity, kindness, and thoughtfulness to every discussion. She leads with her intellect but also with her heart.
Though Dennyse's term with Truckee Meadows Tomorrow has concluded, she will stay an active member of TMT's leadership by acting as one of our first Advisory Council members.
Though we are sad to see your term end, we are grateful for your time, talent and treasure invested in our great community organization.
